Second Entry. (Official Language, Singlish?)

Most of Singaporeans are able to speak the English Language. Not Fluently, but are able to express what they are trying to say through that language. Among many of them, we tend to add a little expression or gesture that might not be common to other people in the world. For those who arent able to speak the english language properly. They speak Singlish. What is Singlish? Personally, i think it's the combination of 2 languages. Hokkien and English. And No. Singlish SHOULD NOT be the official language in Singapore. It's a terrible way to show the younger generation how to speak.
First, it is the wrong way to speak the english language. Second, many tourists that may come here, may not understand and it is a terrible way to show how Singaporeans speak or talk. So my say is no. Singlish should not be the official language in singapore.
